i have tried everything i know still the torque converter runs hot in no time at all ive checked converter releif valve oil cooler radiator engine rpm all are within specs someone surly has run across this problem

Have see the same problem a couple of times. First clean the radiator and make sure you have correct air flow. Next I would change the temperature sending unit to make sure it is correct. It could indicate an over heat situation when there is no cause for concern. When is the last time the fluid was changed. I would recommend using synthetic. It will reduce friction and thus lower the operating temperature. Good luck.

That's a tough one.....
The only other thing that makes sense if theres not enough air flow thru the radiator due to a slow fan, or there is a lot of debris in the cooling fins of the radiator.
Can you see light thru the radiator fins? If it was dusty before, and someone sprayed it with water, all the dust may have turned to mud on the back side of the radiator, and dried up.

If the fan is belt driven, check the belt tension. It may be slipping.

Other than that, I don't have a clue. Good luck
