ive been having trouble with the spark plugs and\or coil. ive changed each spark plug which took me 8 hours for 8 plugs (could they make it any tighter) but still it seems that they are not firing fast enough to burn off the fuel. i think the plugs might have there threads stripped. is any one else having this type of trouble and if so how was it corrected

You know that you have good plugs in the engine so I would look to other causes. Have you changed the fuel filter, checked the air cleaner? How is the flow of the exhaust. A restricted exhaust system will result in a low power problem. Do you have a check engine light on? Check those mentioned and then get back with us and let us know what you find.

Loss of power? Are you sure it is the spark plugs and not the fuel delivery system?
If it is not firing fast enough for the fuel to burn properly it sounds to me like too much fuel not too little spark.
You don't say what year or engine. I know some of the newer Fords have trouble with stripped spark plugs and they usually have to replace the heads.
