I had a few operations when I was a baby & my first memory is being in a hospital bed with the sides up and standing there crying . My parents lived quite a way from the hospital & so could not be there all the time . It's a memory that lives with me till this day , 52 years later !

My grandma and granddad bringing me the most beautiful red dress with white Scottie dogs on it, red patent shoes and some white ankle socks with a tiny red ribbon bow in the front of them, I was nearly 4 at the time and my sister throwing the biggest tantrum ever because she wanted the red dress and shoes instead of the blue one they got her, I was over the moon when my mom said no to her as normally she got her own way in everything, that was such a long time ago, but I remember it well

Mine is of when i was 10 months old. My Dad had a greyhound that had 11 puppies. I remember him holding me out in the garden and i threw a small bouncy ball onto the lawn and all the puppies dived in to get it at once!
I can also remember my first steps. It was a sunny day and i was in the lounge with my parents. The back door was slightly open and my Mum was beckoning me to walk to her and my Dad to walk to him. I can't remember who i walked towards. I was 11 months old!

I was about 3. I remember my parents had left my brother and me with a babysitter, a teenage girl. I remember she invited all of her friends over and they had a party. I remember all these strange teenagers at our house and feeling scared. I remember waking up from a nap with favorite toy, this plaid gumby shaped stuffed toy and just tried to stay near my older brother. That's all I remember. I don't remember the interesting part which my parents later told me about. They got home early and were none too pleased as she had previously been their favorite babysitter; the girl was very embarrassed and I assume she got in some trouble.

My father was in the Navy and was in Singapore. My mother had gone to visit him so my brother and I were staying with my grandparents. My brother dropped his teddy out of his pushchair and my grandmother and I re-walked the route to find it for him. I can't have been more than three.
