Israel has accomplished a lot against the Hezbollah this time. They have disrupted immediate command and control and also killed many of them.
When fighting a group of terrorists that are imbedded within a country that isn't "theirs", it's hard to directly attack them without causing collateral damage. Terrorist are dangerous cowards that work for larger countries that are equally as cowardly. In this case they are working for Iran. Iran is smart by not attacking outright because they would be wiped out by an international coalition.

Because isreal can't determine who is a civilian and who belongs to hezbollah. Its that simple. If isreal really wanted to stop hezbollah they would attack iran (the country that funds Hezbollah). I grow the idea of placing isreal in the middle east was the stupidest thing usa/uk ever did. Remember terrorism is the warfare you get when a impoverished nation is at war with a military power. And occupations never work. on a large scale.

I think mainly, Hezbollah had a lot of political support, including 80% of lebanese christians. Furthermore, Hezbollah are a guerilla group, and air raids cannot eliminate guerillas, they can beat the hell out of the civillian population, but they cant kill the fighters.

easy; Bush and his cronies back them up and support them. Their influence in the Republican party is huge, they are being used to execute Bush's plan so as not get direct opposition from the public to affect his already waning approval.
let me remind everyone that there is a very strong correlation between terror alerts or 'findings' and Bush's ratings, don't believe me? look at his ratings throughout and how they always discover some 'terrorist' plot when he takes a dive, then of course it jumps. When people wake up they realize they been duped again....
We give Israel support and the right to develop weapons as well as supplying them with weapons. These include some nuclear capabilities that we don't approve with any other country....Greed, wealth and world control is our agenda!
