Because the neocon automaton drone only believes what their Caesar tells them. they are like scared children who's parents tell them you best behave or when you go to sleep a monster will come from the closet to get you. There are true enemies(and with the action of the past 8 years I guess they want to make more)but they were few and not in places very technical or modern. Now they are coming from Uncle Sam's so-called friends, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen. And after the US blessing of the destruction and slaughter of Lebanon(who the US always touted as a bastion of hope in the forming of the new Middle East)where the Lebanese see Uncle Sam is all talk and BS when it comes to who Uncle Sam really supports. All they are going to see it that it was US built tanks and jets, attacking and killing their families while the US nodded in approval, not daring to reign in their pit bull. I am pretty sure there are a couple of thousand more pissed off Arabs that now hate America.

Nobody is applauding the death of innocent civilians, I for one am really tired of this incessant crap you people put on here. You don't give a damn about those people or the soldiers. You only care about yourself and making sure you are heard. When are you going to stop using the death of the innocent to push your progandist crap?
Enemies are going to happen, big deal thats their problem if they don't like us. As the Greatest Country we are forced to take care of the others. We supply their basic needs and fight for their causes, its the cost of being American. It has NOTHING to do with politics and everything to do with WHAT IS RIGHT. I would rather a small handfull of civilians died as opposed to the 1000s that were being tortured and murdered before we got there. But I guess thats none of your business, huh. We should all sit back and wait, you know WW2 we tried that approach too, don't recall that working out real well we ended up getting in after Hitler decided to spread out. Maybe we should have done that too. Let Saddam kill his own country off, spread out and then we could enter into another world war. Would that make you happy? Saddam and Osama, kind of like Hitler and Mussolini?
Get over your damn self. If you can't stand behind the troops stand in front of them. If you aren't part of the solution you are part of the problem, is that better?

Typical liberal liberal statement - "liberals are all so smart and everyone else is a dullard because they do not share the liberal view".
Brother, I am a moderate conservative and I do not applaud the death of anyone.
Here is a fundamental truth - there are people out there who would like to kill you, your family, me, my family, and everyone else out there who does not believe what they believe. You can not negotiate with these people. What do you propose to stop these people who only want to kill you? Put out a comprehensive plan please, becuase if there is a peaceful solution - an actual solution, I'll vote for it. Frankly, I would rather live in peace, but I am not afraid of a fight to protect my family.
Too many people sit around and want to attack each other politically with statements like yours, but they don't want to discuss the actual problem or propose actual solutions. This isn't solely the domain of liberals either - conservatives and moderates do it too. The result is we sit around calling names like 3rd graders on a playground instead of actually discussing the issues. In the meantime, the problem just festers and in this case, the terrorists just get stronger. Doing nothing is not an option; calling names and pointing fingers and ignoring solutions to the problem is the same thing as doing nothing.

Your lack of cogent argument is exposed by your trying to use emotions as your reason to criticize. The cold hard fact is that the terrorists care nothing for ANY lives. They hide behind civilians and target civilians. They want as much innocent deaths as they can get period.

Seems like conservatives are pro life if it is unborn and don't give a care once it grows to soldiering age.
Mr moderate conservative amd mr freedom-isn't-free -- that predigested answer would be fine if you could figure out a way to do this without all the civilian deaths - doesn't fighting them over there mean their civilians die instead of ours?
What about being smart, using police and cia? Think for once instead of spouting the latest talking points. Think for yourself.

Everyone in the Twin Towers were guilty. OF WHAT???
You had better pull your head out while there is still time. These people want you (unless you are a practicing Muslim fundamentalist) DEAD. You, your parents, your children, siblings, neighbors, Europe, North and South America and all non-Muslims. They will gladly kill you to make you that way...
Oh, what's the point. Talking to people like you is about the same as talking to rocks.

o one is applauding....why would anyone applaud of innocent Israelis dying, just be they are Israelis? and for the fact that the Lebanese won't leave their homes when told to, that is sad also.....it would be nice if innocents would not die in war.....and finally, it isn't politics....if it were, the Lebanese army would be involved.......it is a terrorist act
