for a learning disorder? i'm 21 years old and not in school anymore. i was evaluated when i was 15 because i was having trouble in school processing things that i read. the tests came out negative. now, whenever i read things, i get confused, i mistaken words with other words that are totally different from what i am reading, i see words out of order, and i just get so confused. i also have a problem that i can't focus on one thing, especially when i talk. i forget what i am saying all the time, i stutter, and i say the wrong words. what should i do?

it's not how much school i am worried about or what my job is. i have a well paying job that i love, and i like where i am in my life. its just that when i read things on the computer, or in a book, or in a magazine, i just have so much trouble. and it's getting worse!

Everyone has that problem. You just have to figure you the best study methods for yourself. More importantly you should figure out what truly motivates you. I did mediocre in school until I realized that I would live a underachieving life working at a retail store away from my family, missing them on weekends and holidays unless I got serious about school. Your not dumb, your just unmotivated.

Your family doctor should be able to either evaluate you or refer you to a specialist. If you don't have a doctor try the health department in your area.
