Very similar skeletal structure, obviously we are designed for bipedal all the time were as they only do so occasionally for short amounts of time. Our genomes are very close (for any creationalist trying to decry this they did sequence the chimpanzee) 98% the same, and now they are going to do a comparison between chimpanzee, man, and neanderthals and see if they can make more matches which would be another piece of strong evidence for evolution. I forget the actual name but both man and apes have the ability to use multiple tools to achieve a goal.

Alot of things are the same they just have slightly more primitive of it.

"EVOLVED from them...Well if we did then why are their still monkeys here??? And omg the evolution process did not just slow down either we may have some of the same characteristics but that doesn't meen we are monkeys...seriously thou!"

That is what is called divergent evolution. The ape species came to a split in the road some went down the evolutionary path of becoming man, some did not have the traits to evolve and continued to be monkeys. Do you understand how long it took to evolve from monkey to man try a couple million years, from man to thinking man another 50,000. Evolution was never a fast process it wasn't one day there were monkeys the next you and me. The first couple thousand years to hundreds of thousands of years down the divergent path you could barely even tell the difference between what would eventually become man and what would stay as an ape this is why when you see the evolutionary line up the first 6 or so really don't change that quickly. We are not monkeys just like if you have a housecat it is not a lion though it shares a good bit with a lion.

If we have any similiarities it would be our stupidity thinking we EVOLVED from them...Well if we did then why are their still monkeys here??? And omg the evolution process did not just slow down either we may have some of the same characteristics but that doesn't meen we are monkeys...seriously thou!
