Honey...here is the answer to your question follow it and you shall find success. Our attention can only be fixated on a single thing at a time. Through the practice and development of one-pointedness, your mind Will be unable to worry. You may choose any object of concentration...a stone, a pencil...anything. Your mind will be fixated on that object and everything else will disappear. As you become more proficient in this exercise one day you will find that your mind has acquired new abilities. For once, those intruding negative thoughts will run away from the sheer power and fire of your mind. Your mind will have developed new abilities to see and operate in this and other planes of existence.....Then you will find that your old mind that used to perturb you on an ongoing basis will now be a shinning vehicle that will propel you to unknown and unseen more expansive level of reality and ultimately to the full development of consciousness.

Some days, our thoughts and our worries can seem to get the best of us. I have found that using a litmus test to evaluate my thoughts and worries often helps me regain perspective. Try this litmus test:

1. Is this thought or concern factual? Is what you are feeling or thinking verifiably true? 2. Is worrying about this in your best interest? Does worrying about this make you feel happy, calm, and at peace? 3. Does this thought or feeling and worrying about it protect your well being, your health and motivate you to avoid at risk situations? 4. Does the thought or feeling, or worrying about it, help you achieve what you want, need, and deserve?

If you answered NO to any of the litmus questions, discard the thought. Simply let it go, and stop worrying about it. You have the power to stop worrying. Reason it out. It's all up to you.

well I can tell you what I would do. Sing a song of Gloria Gaynor -
First I was afraid
I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live
without you by my side
But I spent so many nights
thinking how you did me wrong
I grew strong
I learned how to carry on
and so you're back
from outer space
I just walked in to find you here
with that sad look upon your face
I should have changed my stupid lock
I should have made you leave your key
If I had known for just one second
you'd be back to bother me

Go on now go walk out the door
just turn around now
'cause you're not welcome anymore
weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye
you think I'd crumble
you think I'd lay down and die
Oh no, not I
I will survive
as long as i know how to love
I know I will stay alive
I've got all my life to live
I've got all my love to give
and I'll survive
I will survive

You cannot stop worrying yourself because you are guilty. True piety does not consist in prostrating yourself before the altars of the Gods, but in contemplating the world with a serene mind. You need no more to be happy.

If this situation is affecting your functioning on a daily basis, I suggest you seek medical attention. All of us have doubts and concerns. Concentration on the present helps one not wast time on the yet to be future or events that are in our past.
