if you want to get scientific, why not just no ponder the possibility that when we die we simply disperse into our surrounding like every other form of energy. to believe that the energy that contains our "mind" has the ability to contain itself and then enter into another physical body later actually is the most ridiculous thing i've heard from a strictly scientific point of view. if you want to philosophies over it, that's one thing, but in the realm of science there is a zero chance.

The basis of life is energy. Energy doesn't ever go away. It can change into different forms. But it never goes away. That's why energy = GOD = life = love.
The person that I am has a body, a mind, a spirit, a soul. My body is definitely finite, it has a certain shelf-life, a definite expiration date. What happens with the rest of me, the mind/spirit/soul energy that is ME? It just changes form, and the beautiful thing is, it has free will (all energy does, it bonds because of love). So, if there is stuff here in this physical world that I still have to do - figure out how to be my own best friend, have that hot fudge sundae or help my grandchild through his rough childhood, I have the choice to come back, and I have the choice to come back as whatever I choose, for the reasons that suit me. This is not all there is to LIFE, this is just one miniscule aspect of it in which we happen to have physical senses, which is what makes this place so much fun. Enjoy seeing, feeling, hearing, touching, and tasting. Get your fill, so that next time around you can choose to go somewhere else, experience something new & wild....

It might make sense. How about this?
Due to the law of conservation of matter/energy, nothing can be created or destroyed, but can be changed in form. When one dies, eventually the body decomposes, and all the molecules and atoms in that body go somewhere. Eventually these same atoms will wind up in other living creatures, even if only in small amounts. It's probable that I have at least 1 or 2 atoms in my body that George Washington did as well. This situation could, theoretically, imprint another living being into exhibiting traits and signs of previous beings.
Okay, it's bad science. But it sounds good.

Of course it makes sense...what would not make sense is for us to be on this Earth plane for 80 or so years and then die completely when the Universe is infinite. That never did sound right to me. I am a spirit in a host body...I will shed the body but my spirit much like the universe is infinite. I feel that my spirit can choose what it wants to do, whether to be reincarnated or not...as long as the lessons are learned while here on earth. I do feel I have been here many times in many lives...I have too many dreams and visions of other places and other times that I've never been to before. How can this be if my spirit has never been there before, right? Yes...we live many lifetimes...there is no hell...there is reincarnation!

It doesn't make sense for me... at least when you talk about souls. Electrons and energy is a different matter. As for souls, if you believe in a supreme transcendental Being who created the world (which you probably do when you talk about "souls"), believing in reincarnation would suggest a limitation in the Being's capacity to create new souls which is illogical.

we all do some bad, we learn and change.what we do brings about it's own rewards and punishment.the idea is to be alive long enough to reach a truth in your life.I've read that death is the twin sister to sleep. I FIND THAT FASCINATING.In dreams we don't use speech as we do in life, our souls to seem to visit places that are familiar yet not. Fascinating.

Yes it does, I totally believe in reincarnation. I believe my new cat is my old cat. They possese the same personality traits and does things only my old cat would do. I also believe my siamese cat is a diseased wealthy woman from the titantic due to her love for money and jewlery.

you die and thats it. There is no heaven or hell. If evolution is real, and there is scientific proof it is. Then there is no God. It is a theory and some evidence that when we die are "energry" roams around somewhere. You cannot destroy energy. Or we dont know how...yet.
