My bank charges $15 for a new checkbook. Is there any cheaper way to order checkbooks?

Look in your Sunday paper ads, or the Pennysaver (or whatever you get in the mail). There are often fliers in there for check printing. Usually they are far cheaper than your bank, and offer much better variety of designs.

Also, are you a warehouse club member for Costco or Sam's Club. They offer cheap check printing. Go to their web site and click under Services.

There are alot of good sites online.. I use a site called Checks In The Mail.. The prices for the checks aren't real high and they have all kinds of designs.. The site is safe to order off of if you're using a credit card or having direct with draw from you're account to pay for the checks and shipping/taxes. Plus there safe just to give them you're bank information.. I have order mine and had them shipped to me with in a week. After you start ordering from them .. Every few months you will recieve a email with specials and if you need checks you can order them at a cheaper price than you did the first time you order.. here is there website http://secure.checksinthemail.com/index.aspx
