You need to start at a junior college or university. You will need a Bachelor's degree. It doesn't matter what the Bachelor's degree is in, but you would be best off to get it in Science. You should contact the Medical school that you would like to attend and find out what their curriculum requirements are and which university they prefer. You will need volunteer work, letters of recommendation from instructors or dean's at the university. You need as close to straight A's as you can get in your coursework. Especially in Science and math. Most medical schools accept students from their preferred universities first. Like I am going to do a Bachelors program at UT tyler that is through UT medical branch because I want to attend that medical school.

You start at a university in pre-med studies.
