I would get a non lightscribe BenQ Dvd burner. BenQs are very highly rated. Newegg has BenQ DVD burners for less than $30, if you just want a CD burner they also have them for less than $20.
I would stay away from lightscribe because they cost more and the media costs substantially more; it also seems likely to wear out the drive if you make it do the extra work and besides my epson R200 does a great job with inkjet printable discs for less money.

Get LG with dual layer and write capabilities and with lightscribe. You should be able to get it for less than $ 60.00 i guess
