my friend couldnt use his id for 3 months and now someone else is using his id....can u tell me if u dnt use ure yahoo messenger id for 3 months does it expire ....is it possible for some other guy to use tat id now ....

My guess is he had his accont hacked.

It doesn't normally expire. Maybe someone has stolen his account. That happens especially if it is a good nickname (without the numbers at the end) and if he used a weak password.

Someone must have hacked the user name. I've logged into accounts six months or more after useing them and they still work. The only thing that should have disabled after so many months is the email account.

It expires after 3 months i think and yes he can use the account if the person does have his password.

if unused for 3 months id expires n yahoo! can provide it to any other user!
