The most Important parts are Processor, Motherboard, and HArd Disk. RAM is also important
Processor- This part of ur PC processes things. That is ur work is done fast or slow depending on the speed of the processor
RAM- "Random Access Memory" is the memory used temporarily by ur computer. Its not permanant. It is useful in games bcoz higher the RAM, higher graphics supported in the temporary memory. Things Stored in RAM clears out when u quit the programs or shuts down computer
The more important parts are softwares which include Operating System.The Operating System(Windows, Linux, DOS or wateva) make the computer work.
Hard disk as u know is permanant Memory

When I was teached what a computer contains, they made a comparation with the human body, something like this:
- the mainboard is like the heart: it ensures that energy and information have a correct flow through all the parts of the computer;
- the processor is like the brain: it controls everything that happens inside a computer; it runs programs and make some decisions depending on the information it gets;
- the RAM memory is just like the short-term human memory; it's very fast but it's quantity is limited and, once the computer is turned off, it's content disappears;
- the power supply is like the stomach: it gets some energy from exterior and transforms it in the kind of energy different parts of the computer need to function properly;
- the keyboard, mouse and microphone are like the human senses: they get the exterior events and transform them into a type of information the computer can process;
- the monitor and speakers are like the speach capability: they take the information from inside the computer and translate it into information the user can understand.
Now, for the second part of your question:
- a processor is an integrated circuit that gets instructions, does whatever those instructions say and gives some output information as a result of executing the instructions.
- RAM (Random Accsess Memory) is a chip that can memorize a certain quantity of information and the information in it can be accsessed "randomly".

The important parts of a computer are CPU, Memory , Input Devices and Output devices. The input devices like mouse and keyboard take input from thecomputer user one by one and store them into memory . The CPU then picks up these inputs,one by one processes them and displays the output on Printer/Monitor which are output devices.
RAM is the memory where in the processor stores the information being currently processed.
The processor, a part of CPU, reads the data in the form of binary information, converts it into useful data and sends to output device for display of result

The RAM is basically the flow of the data at once from the computer and is actually its power in the simplest words. Today 1 GB is more preffered for longer lasting PC's. The processor is the energy of the PC to do multiple tasks and unleash the power. 3.2 GHZ would be fine. Was that good enough to get 10 points.???

mother board is the most important part of Personal Computer.
as it connects the cpu, hard drives, memory, and every other part of a system by means of slots, connectors, and sockets.
if u want to assemble a pc then first of all u hv to purchase the mother board then only u decide which kind of memory and every other parts are supported by the pc
the whole pc depends only on mother board.
if ur mother board is of P3 then ur cpu will recognize as P3 processor
by viewing the mother board u decide the processor of the pc.
