I used to be a fan, back when they played cool stuff like in "Kill'em All", etc. They are now so full of themselves, it's pathetic. Arrogant, pompous asses! Anymore all they seem to do is puke out stale efforts and expect everyone to buy them just because they are the (supposedly) great and all powerful Metallica!! And that one with the live orchestra? That has to be their worst ever! It's been done before James, way before Metallica was ever started, and much better I might add! And what they did to Jason Newsted? That was a crime! Someone ought to slap the sh*t out of Hetfield and Ulrich! Now Kirk, he's not nearly as bad.Come down off your high horses Metallica and play the type of stuff that made you worthy of being liked! Never forget where you came from and what got you there! To actually sue someone because they named a pet after the band?? Come on! Fame has given them the big head as well as selective amnesia it seems! Personally, I wouldn't walk across the street to see them, even if it was free! All in all, Metallica sold out, plain and simple! In other words ... they suck!

I like Metallica in the 80's the best, I can't stand their music past their Black Album.

Metallica died to me when St. Anger hit the airwaves. It was touch and go there for a while afterthe Black album....then it happened....so sad to say we pulled the plug and lost what was once a great band.....maybe we could revive them with a bottle of rye but I have aa feeling they are gone and lost forever. RIP

Metallica is awesome. Master of Puppets and Black Album are their best. Ride The Lightning is EXCELLENT as well.

My older brother loves them. And Metallica was the first band my son headbanged to, his uncle was very proud, lol.
