Why the hell do these countries deserve so much coverage when they could fit into the continent of Africa a thousand times over. I know this is a really bad thing to say but sometimes I wish they would obliterate each other and give the rest of the world some peace.

Heck yes. I'm in the Army and the last thing I need is for us to get involved in ANOTHER war. We are stretched far too thin as it is.

Let them blow the crap out of each other.

Funny how the world wants us to stay out of everyone's buisness but as soon as something like this happens, they are all looking at us asking "why aren't you stopping this?" and "please help us".

Media is controled by Zionists !

They are the Illuminatis, and they own you,
This is the New World Order, and it is your future if the world don't wake up :

And this is what Bush’s minions had to say in 2000;-
"Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor"
Project for the New American Century (2000)

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
Hermann Göring(Nazi) 1946 Nuremberg Trials

"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order."
David Rockefeller: Statement to the Untied Nations Business Council in September 1994

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with other around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." David Rockefellers memoirs (2002)

They might be two small countries - but they are on the front lines of terrorism. The Israelis are doing the job for us. And it's not Lebanon they're after - it's the Islamic Terrorist Hezbollah. Lebanon just got caught in the middle and is paying for their buddies the Hezbollah being in their country. Maybe now they'll rethink that. Lebanon is (was) a paradise. It's up to Israel, the U.S., the UK and, most importantly, the Hezbollah to rebuild it. The Hezbollah didn't have any problems with hiding in people's apartments and then screaming bloody murder when Israel took them out. They used the Lebanese as human shields because they knew Israel would NOT deliberately kill civilians - like Hezbollah does. The moment Israel went on the move and there was a significant possibility that Israel just didn't care anymore and was willing to run over anyone who got in their way - that's when we start having cease fire talks!! How amazing!! It's true - timing is everything.
Pay attention when you watch the news. You might learn something.

I agree. Every 4 weeks, 2 countries should be pulled out at random from a big hat, and cause as much pain and suffering as possible, until its the next 2 countries turn. This way we can always have exciting news coverage for you, and you don't have to see the same boring conflict on television each day!

I am not. I am sick of the pictures of dead children in Middle East and in Africa and South America. I would like to wake up one day to a world where children do not die with dummies still hanging on their little bodies.
Obliteration you say? Selfish, ignorant and illogical - yes you should be obliterated!

If you remember your history, the fighting will continue until
all facist thinking is obliberated. These two countries are
taking the "heat" so that it doesn't happen here. But wait,
sometime in the future, we (U.S.) will be next. Worst than
9/11. See how you feel then !

You may be sick of it , but, why do you think they get so much coverage??
The final world will start with just such a conflict, and in the Middle east.
