I have this xbox game that a friend gave me for free cuz it didn't work anymore. The game is called "Halo 2" and i hear this game is awesome so i really want to try it. But when i load it with my xbox 360, it loads the first part, then it always says "disc is unreadable" right after that. I know its because of the scratches because the scratches are preatty bad. So if anyone knows a specail ingredient they would like to share with me that fixes CD scratches very well, please feel free to answer this question.

clean the disk off with windex and a soft cloth, and then buff it with car wax, just like you would buff a scratch out of a car. Make sure that the car wax doesn't have any paint in it though.

Put some hair gel into the scratches add a few drops of water then rub with a damp cloth. Yes - it works
