I have been reading other peoples responses but I'm confused about myself. I ovulated on the 24-25 July and last peroid was July 12th, I have not had my peroid yet. I had some spotting the first week of Aug and break through bleeding on day 29th after sex but still nothing yet. On day 29 I took a pregnancy test and it was light positive and then I waited 5 days and took another one and it was negative. I have cramping, lower back pain, moody all the time, can not get enough sleep, boobs are sore, and bloating. I feel like my peroid is coming but nothing happens. I want to make an appointment with the OBGYN but hubby says no and just let nature take it's course.

Please help me as to what I need to do. Thank you.

Make an appt with your obgyn. If you had a light positive pregnancy test, then chances are you are pregnant. When you call your obgyn, tell them about both of the pregnancy tests and request a blood pregnancy test. Trust me, in the long run it will be worth it because you won't be stressing about it anymore.

I had myself convinced last month that I was experiencing all of the symptoms that you are describing. All of the hpt came back negative so I went for blood work, which was also negative. My period was late, I am convinced, because of how much I was stressing over wanting it to be late.

I would suggest blood work and go from there. I have never heard of a false positive, only false negatives!

Good luck!

Act as if you are pregnant, ie. don't drink alcohol, eat healthy...I'm not sure about your hormones or if you took the same brand of test. In any case, if you have a negative you might be pregnant, but just not have enough hormones to show as positive. If you show as positive, you are pregnant.
With my first I had two negative tests at home and a negative hospital urine test and a few days later they did a blood test which finally came back as positive.

Very simply, YES! rule of thumb a positive is always a positive and you can get false negatives....have another test and then if still negative, I would go to Doctors and have blood work done to ease your mind once and for all. best of luck!

Well, I have to disagree with your husband. If you are pregnant, early care is so important. I don't know if you are taking vitamins, but they will prescribe them if not. Get a blood test-they are way more accurate. Also, if you got one positive test, you are probably pregnant.
