The problem is that U must be so conscious of your dentition. Who said braces ain't good. Just see urself as the pretty girl which u are. Then U start smiling.

It is just natural. Now that you have got them fixed, try to smile seeing some nice pictures , movies etc . Try seeing yourself in the mirror and smiling for few minutes daily. Dont be nervous. Keep int touch.

This has happened to all of when we finally got our braces removed after years of wearing them and being tortured by them. Practice smiling naturally and laughing in a mirror at home. It just feels un-natural to you, but I'm sure you look fine to other people.

my teeth need braces but i still smile away confidently. the feeling behind the smile counts, not the smile itself, though having great teeth are a bonus.

i do have the same problem but i never stop smiling with closed mouth. just feel happy to show your nice teeth do not worry
