My Chinese sign is the Monkey. I am a trained astrologer, so I can tell you with authority that the Sun sign has a weak influence and is outweighed by positions and aspects of other planets to each other and to the 12 houses. To erect a chart, I must know the exact hour, date and place of birth. My ascendant or rising sign is Taurus, and that controls one's appearance.
