If we are at war, as the terrorists claim, why dont we put all muslms in internment camps like we did in WW2?

This whole divison between they and us is what got us here in the first place sir. PLus you cannot unilinearly place the resposibilty for this war on Muslims, or terrorists...no terrorists ever started a war, they only ever reacted to oppression that existed before and had to exisit before they could emerge.

The fact that you implicitly justify the use of internment camps as a valid method of war, shows that your remarks must be intended to be inflamatory, because lets face it, everyone knows that concentration camps, prisoners of war, genocide and punishing innocent civilians for subscribing to a particular faith has been done and will probably go down as one of our worst moments as a race.

I'm not a doo-gooder, in fact i considered killing myself up in response to the killing going on the middle east and i'm not even a Muslim, (fortunately i realise that would come to nothing so i didn't, and won't) but like someone already said, Islam does not promote suicides or killing of civilians, some radical, fundamentalist sects within Islam have prescribed the killing of people who have strayed from Allah's true path, but luckily these people are not in power, the real terrorists are the illegal zionist regime and western goverments who create and block negotiations to these conflicts, the only reason we are being targetted is because we, my friend, you and i, have their blood all over our hands, and some seems to have gotten on your face and poisoned your mind, because no self-respecting human could ever endorse the mass imprisonment and maltreatment of a race of people, thats puts you up there with Hitler, hope you like the view you psycho!

I've worked with several Muslim people and they're all great. I work with one Muslim guy every couple of weeks and he's just lovely. The only time a Muslim that I know has ever done anything that I disagree with was when one guy wouldn't sell emergency contraception to someone because of his religious beliefs, and the only reason I disagreed with that was because I thought her liberty was more important.

I defend Muslims like this and I am gay - that must mean something!

Second, we didnt place Muslims in internment camps during world war 2 . I think you mean Japanese Americans. Third,there are over a billion Muslims around the world (several hundred million in Indonesia alone and about 6 million in the U.S). How does you suggestion work? I think we would all like to see how you think this could be put into place. You need a reality a check.

So you should like that we imprison people because of religion? Seems terribly unfair. During World War II, we did it by race, but now we should use religion as a pretext to stupidity. Taking the gloves off....we are pretty good with our gloves on...aren't we...men being killed daily and we need to increase that number.? What about just getting out of a mess created by war-mongers, big business and vested interests...seems that we could solve more problems at a lower cost by taking our two-cents out of other nation's problems....Did we solve anything in Haiti, or Vietnam...Somalia, or the problems arising in the fragments Soviet Union. Did we gain anything by smuggling the Dalai Lama out of Tibet, or just create another bone of contention. Did we solved any problems by siding with Chiang Kai Shek, a very corrupt person supported by millionaires in the US and even giving him three BILLION dollars and succeeded in alienating China and Mao Tse Tung against us, and the wound still fester today...Wouldn't it be wiser to clean up our homefront than attempt to be the super cop to the world and falling on our faces?

You can't generalise everybody like this. So far the only terrorists who are going to extremes like this have been of muslim religion, but who's to say that people from other religions are not gonna do the same?
It's very unfair for people like you to label everyone in this way. I work with many muslim people and to be quite honest they've all been so nice and really go out of their way to help.
You're doing no better with your question by narrowing your choice of responders.
