I doubt that any or most of us have any understanding of what may be the difficulties involved for an Iranian citizen to emigrate to the USA.

The best advice that I can offer, if permitted, is that you may try emigrating to a country in Europe and from there to US. This will not be done quickly under today's conditions. Look into foreign student exchange programs, even to the US or Canada. However, that may require a sponsor in any country.

With your apparent knowledge of English, that is a big plus.

I have known many Iranians in our country. One I know of was smuggled out. Others are here with legal papers, but several years ago.

I wish you success in whatever your wishes are.

Honey, I am 22 and I lived in that same situation until I was 19. I understand completely what you are going through. However, if at the moment there is no way for you to get out focus on your studies b/c you will get here one way or the other. If you have great grades you can ask for scholarships (studying over here is not cheap!). Try (although I know its hard!) not to lose your sanity! Hang in there you are still Young. For going to the U.S the best way is to apply for scholarships to go there as an international student. If not hope that you can win the lottery! Also, if all you family wants to immigrate they might be able to if you have alot of money. You can always go to "sefarat hefazat manafeh America" which use to be on"vsliasr st." and ask them how you can immigrate to America.

GL!

try and get a visa to work here first. It may take a while due to the turmoil in the area because of the background checks and things, but you can try looking on a government website regarding citizen ship. after being here for certain amount of time, you can become a citizen.

Have you tried being a foreign exchange student? Go to some U.S. college websites and see what their foreign student application process is. Maybe you can get on out of there and move here.
