What color is a still pool of water? What color is the glass of a darkend house? What color is a droplet of mercury? What color is aluminum foil?
Since you're in "Wordplay" perhaps you're looking for a more philosophical response than a technical tour de force.
A mirror is a surface with a high albedo, that is it reflects most of the light which strikes it. We usually say an object is a color because it reflects light of a wavelength or a group of wavelengths that fall on it. Think about different lighting, by the moon for example....
Cold hearted orb that rules the night,
Removes the colors from our sight.
Red is grey and yellow white,
But we decide which is right.
And which is an illusion?
We see color depending on how excited one of three types of recpetors in our eyes is, and then what the brain makes of these excitation levels. The color of something is the ratio of excitation of these receptors and then the brain making sense of it.
All the light we see might be reflected (what we call a mirror). Other creature may look at something we see as mirrors and see something that reflects light in a way we might see as a tint.

The mirror has the color of what it reflects! It can't reflect anything it must reflect something!

without the back it is tranparent. The back causes it to reflect things, but without the back it is just a plain glass
