most of your files may be in 'My documents'. Cut those files and paste them in 'D'. There is one software known as 'partitian magic'. Download it and increase the size of 'c'. It will automatically increase'c' and decrease 'd'

The other answers are good, but it still will not "resolve" your problem. You will just be moving junk from one room to another.
Either, you can get a larger hard drive...or just copy files to a CD then delete them.
You must have at least 25% free space on your hard drive for your computer to run efficiently...
It appears that you have folders that have many GIGs in them. You must defrag often. 2-3 times per week.

You can move your swap file (Virtual memory) to the second drive which will speed up file accesses on C drive because you can access 2 drives at a time. This will also free up space on your C drive by whatever was the swap file size. Good luck!

Move some of your files (the ones you don't use that often) over to the D drive and delete them from the C drive.

The best way is Partition Magic Software by which you can give a c: some space from D:,
Install Partition Magic and use it you will really love it.

why dont you just back up th data on C. and difregment save what you need ...you can not use D for additional drive space thats your cd rom drive.
