Beckham isn't even the shadow of the player he had the chance to be, but England doesn't have any body better than him. Not even close.

David Beckham need not be dropped. They could have just changed his position to right midfield. However, McLaren can use this time to make the England team really explore their attacking skills cause thats exactly what they need. England should not use the old Eriksson method of too much defense after scoring or waiting for those amazing free-kicks. Goals do not come free, the team must toil..

Q: What would David Beckham's name be if he was a Spice Girl? A: Waste of Spice That is what he is in my opinion with or without a beard.....a total waste of space.

Yeah .. it makes Becks want to work harder to come back into the team .. atm Becks is playing pretty poorly and he nneds to improve .. all he's good at is free kicks
Steve McClaren (the coach) should also get rid of Rio .. he's rubbish!

David Beckham plays very good football for Real Madrid. REAL MADRID, not Middlesborough. McClaren will regret his decision.

beckham slows the play dwn i think wat mac is looking for is pace that we have lacked.beckham is a fashion icon.no more a footballer.the only performer in world cup was hargreaves.dropping beckham is a defensive dissapointment but wright phillips has pace and ability to fill his boots.but if mac thinks stewart downing is going to do any good he should be the reserve manager
