The word "should" is an optimistic one and is applicable to any team that is competing in a tournament.
The more apt word here would have been "will they...".
Based on the present form, it is difficult to say what is going to happen. Sri Lanka in their home country is as good as the Aussies. Beating them will require, less of experimentation, rotating the strike and not giving wickets to Murali and putting on a 280+ total if India were to bat first.
Bowling first, keeping a third man for Jayasuriya's slash over the slips may be a good idea, while Kumble could do the trick in the middle overs.
No more experimenting --- get on with the team for the world cup and see what we can do.

India hav won Hardly as it was 153 for 7.............and ths match was against a local team..............huh ............can any body tell which team is going to play in World cup as the selection commite and evn chappl dunt know.....!
