That in the last week people are asking questions, but no going back to resolve them. I like to see what the asker thinks instead of us having to vote.

I like to give a best answer!

But yes I have noticed that not as many people are bothering to resolve the question and letting it go voters..... I have noticed this because my "best answer" percentage has gone from 7% to 5% in the last 2 weeks..... whats up with that?

And l'm still delivering quality answers.... I think its a conspiracy against me, people don't want to see me at level 5, they are jealous.... haha!

Probably because there are so many questions coming through it just takes too long or maybe people don't understand. Voting a best answer gives the question asker 3 of their points back after using up 5 by asking so it can't be just a points thing.

I put it down once again to apathy.

Don't let it put you off ;o)

I agree - I like to see what the asker thinks. But I have left a couple of questions open to voting to get other people's opinion on the best answer when I can't work it out myself - ie if alot of people vote for it, then that's the answer you should go for

No one knows... anyway questions do have a time limit here. If the asker does not vote then others can give their opinion on who they think gave the best answer.

i have noticed that. i had been wondering what the reason was. why bother asking a question if you are not going to choose the answer which most satisfies your wondering. its nice to get feedback from the asker.

Ok , If the asker wants others advise on questions him or her asked , then what would be the benefit to ask if he or she already knew the answer to thier questions?

yeh, I like my best answers to be picked by the asker because then I know that I have helped them and that my information was relevant to question, rather than just random people voting me best.

yeah, i prefer when asker comes back and chooses best answer, plus asker missing out on 3 points by not choosing

.

I always pick a best answer, I read what people have taken
the time to write for me, ok there are some idiots who think
" I dont know " or " so what " "dont care" is an answer well obviously I am not going to pick them but I want to reward
the answer and will give a reason as to why I chose it as well.
Surely part of this is about learning.
