Believe in yourself. I am not an expert on overcoming hurts (the contrary rather), and although I sometimes feel I cannot take it any longer, the only person ever capable for bringing me back on my feet is myself. You just have to find the true value of yourself and your life, and then start reaching out toward others.

I know it may not help at once.

The first step is to define exactly what it is that hurt you. What is it about the situation that caused the hurt? How can you avoid it in the future? Identify what the problem is and brainstorm until you come up with viable solutions for it.
