Right click on your desktop.
Click on Properties
Click the Settings tab
Change the screen resolution to whatever you had before (usually 800x600, 1024x768 or 1280x1024)
If this fixes the problem then close the window if not;
Click on the Themes tab
Change theme to Windows XP
Note: This will reset ALL screen settings! You may have to play around with them to get your desktop image back, etc.
Hope this helps

when is says windows XP/2000 it means either windows Xp or windows 2000, they are 2 different operating systems. So if u downloaded the Xp/2000 driver your fine
You just need to hiher the resolotion on your PC, u probably have it at 800 x 600 pixels, just higher that value

dont worry you did select the correct driver....when it says XP/2000 its not talking of the year but rather a version of wondows that was called 2000.
Just right click your mouse on the desktop, choose properties then settings, choose 32 bit on the right hand side then move the slider on the left to the screen size you want, try 1024x768 first and see how you like it, just change it if its not want you want, then press apply then ok.
always best to reboot when you have it set as you like it

Minimise all windows
Now right click and select Properties.
Now go to the settings tab.
Change the slider to match the resolution that you require.
Also click on the Advanced button to make additional changes.

it sounds like your screen resolution is set to low, i would advise right click on your desktop screen choose properties, then goto settings and increase the resolution, up a few notches and this should fix the problem
hope this helps

System restore is your friend.
Alternatively, try changing the resolution in your Display settings.
