Generally, if both of the same age. . . women are more mature than men. But there are instances that men mature earlier than women.

Women mature earlier than men, but after the age of about 24, I don't think there's a difference. I read somewhere (a long time ago, so I don't remember exactly) that men don't fully develop the frontal lobe of their brain until their early twenties, so they're not fully mature until then, whereas women develop it earlier.

women are more mature even as young as 10 yrs old. why?
since we are young we as women are taught how to nurse and do some homescience......... etc.. if you give a boy some cash to buy edible good for the home wait and see what he buys...on the other hand gals are more trained and well versed with what should be bought and what is more budgetable. even look at when somebody falls sick a family,relative or even a friend and look at the different ways of how a boy or a gal will take care of that sick person.

Up to the ages of 35-40 I would say women are more mature. After 40 however, I think it's dead even.

tough one - the both have maturity on differant levels.
woman mature before men so I will go for woman - if they continue to mature that is. i guess the answer could also be whether there are more male or females in the world.
its pretty close.

we all have our moments of immaturity and superiority maturity, i don't think it's a gender issue, it varies from person to person
