I used to be on Depo... only had one injection though. I somehow got pregnant... maybe the injection I got was expired or something. I dunno. But I also lost the babies due to stress about 4 months into the pregnancy... yes I said babies. Having a set of multiples runs in my family. Anywayz... It sounds like to me that you already have your period back. It's going to be a little heavy probably cuz you have not had your period in a long time. As for trying to conceive... it will take a while. I've listed a site below that might help you with more questions about the depo shot and of trying to conceive. I found the information there very useful. It's also a message board. It's nice to know that you are not the only one out there in this situation. I wish you the best of luck!!

Hi. A friend of mine was on the deppo injection for a a good few years and she came off it to try for a baby. It took her just over a year to fall pregnant and her periods came back quite irratic and heavy.

Her periods were also either 2 to 4 months apart, so it sounds quite similar.

Just keep trying, I know thats easy to say but hang in there.

it may take everywhere from one week to as much as a 12 months so you might develop into fertile returned. I got here off the deppo shot some month in the past and that i havn't began my organic cycle returned yet. It curiously differs with diverse human beings in spite of the undeniable fact that i think of the traditional is around 2 - 3 months. wish i helped and robust success x

i was on the depo but i came off it due to the doctor advising me to come off it, i didnt come off it to get pregnant. i stop taking it later last year and i still havnt had any periods so it might be just different ways the body works. did you have heavy periods before you went on the depo at all?

I was on Depo Provera for 3yrs. It can take upto 1.5yrs for your menstrual cycle to return to normal. After that conceiving is just a matter of time and being healthy.
Hope that helps.

I takes about 6-12 months to fall pregnant as you want it to happen .Just don't worry about it and you will find you will fall better than trying to be pregnant.
