I'd worry more about whether i can have kids or not. its not always as easy as lets have babies - here they are! worry about your body later when the time comes, any way I have a son and the weight drops off pretty quick and being athletic I'm sure firming your body should be no problem. also remember to constantly use creams on you growing belly to avoid stretch marks.
good luck with it all

Honey if your a cheerleader you know you are in shape and can get right back down to size. Come on now. It amy take a little work but you get paid for your looks so it's worth it. You will never experience a greater joy than having a baby. They bring so much joy and happiness (ok and sleepless nites and 4 am feedings) you can't imagine how great it is. I wouldn't worry sounds like you have a great foundation to build on and to lose from so have a baby. Make sure you exercisr while your pregnant and lots and lots of vitamin e oil and cocoa butter. I would be more worried about stretch marks than losin the weight. I have never exercised aday in my life and got huge with both my kids and am down to 130 a lttle big but hey I don't exercise. Just a little pouch I have but you do and will exercise so go for it.

I have a friend who feels she has to keep up with having a really skinny body because she now lives in South Beach. She hardly gained any weight during pregnancy because A) she threw up for 2 weeks straight. B) she had an aversion to meat so basically was a veggie for a while C) after she got through that I believe shear will power and the absolute fear of being skinny next to the other South Beach moms in her exercise class kind of made her eat less and only healthy foods with a splurge every once in a while. When she did splurge she ate very little other times during the day to make up for it. Also she was lucky to not get swelling and I guess she did not get any ravenous cravings or like I said she really worked hard to make her self not give in. You should also breast feed for as long as you can so you will loose the weight fast. You have to gain some weight so your baby will be healthy. Hopefully your skin won't leave you with stretch marks.

Sorry, but I think that you are being very selfish indeed. What's more important- you're body, or the knowledge that you are a mother, a strong powerful woman who brought a new life into this world.
Time to grow up and consider a career change.
From the way you ask your question, I assume that you are thinking of returning back to work after you've had your baby- but how are you going to do that? What's the point of having a baby if you're not going to be around him/her (sorry to all those working moms who don't have a choice and have to work)
It's time to stop being so self centered and start thinking about being healthy enough to get pregnant, or actually to consider whether or not you are actually going to try and conceive, because I think that you need to do some maturing first.

if you've always had a slim body figure, then you shouldn't have a problem getting your figure back after having a baby, i am 25 yrs old and I had a baby almost 3 yrs ago (she'll be 3 next month) and i still have a great body....I have always been very skinny, when i was pregnant with my daughter i gained 80 lbs, i was 96 lbs b4 i became pregnant and by the time i had her i was 178 lbs! i dropped 10 lbs in the hospital after i had her and about 6 months later i was back down to 100 lbs! i didn't really even exercise, part of my weight loss after i had my daughter was do to alot of stress. I have a sister in law who had 6 kids and she still has a skinny body figure. good luck

I can relate to your fear. With my first pregnancy, I went from weighing 120 lbs. to over 200 lbs. I gained over 80 lbs. with my first child. I was miserable, because I was always the skinny, cute girl that could wear almost anything and turn heads. My son was born in December. I instantly lost some, but it took me nearly 8 months to lose most of the baby fat. I still have 10 extra pounds that I can't seem to shake. This is where you have to ask yourself a very personal question. I hated being fat, but you know, I wouldn't trade my son for being skinny again. I look at him, and that extra 10 lbs. to me, nearly seems like a souviner for the love that my husband and I created.

You're body isn't going to go right back to normal right away, but if you maintain physical fitness throughout your pregnancy and incorporate it after you have the baby, plus eat right. You should be fine. I had my son 4 months ago and have lost 45 pounds. But it is a lot harder to exercise after you have the baby,so don't expect the weight to fall off overnight,be ready to work.

You won't be concern after birth. What you have by then is confidence and is much greater than just having a GREAT body. People will be more attracted to you rather than by your physical appearance.
Go ahead and get pregnant.

It will take hard work but you can get back your great body. But the younger you are the more apt you are to get stretch marks. And those will never go away.
