I'm sure you agree that sporks are the most awesome silverwear ever.
But just why are they so awesome?

Actually they are called splades, not sporks and yes they do have many uses.

Cool name and dual functionality. I think its more the cool name and appearance though. If you think about it sporks suck at most foods. For soup you won't get as much as a spoon, but you also don't have long enough prongs to stab something like a steak. But I mean think about it, its a spork, how much does that rock?

Sporks are the missing evolutionary link from plastic knives evolving to plastic forks.

First the knife gets stubby and round like the spoon. then the spork fits in, then the fork

how can some one NOT love a spoon/fork combo? they are just so..... handy! you can at the broth and the meaty bits in a stew or with chicken noodle soup! GO SPORKS!!!!!!

less utensils to wash, functional enough to do its job, one less cutlery in a confusingly crowded table setting. imagine feeding 200 guests in a party-- that's 200 less spoon or fork to set, use, wash, dry and put away.

wont they do something with all the plates and saucers?
