My first advice is dress appropiately for the job dress code. 2. Smile and reach your hand out first when greeting the interviewer and introduce yourself with eye to eye contact. Hand him another copy of your resume even if it was given when filling out application. Alot of times the interviewer does not have your info in front of him.3. Listen to what interviewer says and answer all questions breifly not giving to much detail. and make sure you look at him in his eyes while talking and while he is talking to you. Show lots of facial expressions that you are interested in what he is saying even if you're not. 4. DO NOT OFFER ANY EXTRA INFO THAT IS NOT ASKED AND KEEP IT POSITIVE!!! 5. wait until he asks you if you have any questions before asking any questions. It's best to ask questions that he did not answer during interview. 6. repeat #2 and say thankyou for your time and that you will be looking forward to hearing from him regarding the positon. If the company calls you back in for a 2nd interview, you got the job!!! Good luck!!! I hope this helped!!!

First, you should do some reaserch on the place you want to work for. By having this and explaining it to them, it will show them that you are very interested and not just looking for a common job. When you go to the interview, dress appropriately. In most cases you don't really have to wear a suit unless it's a seriously professional job. Otherwise dress causual, but nicely. During the interview, make sure you let them know about your skills and be confident! A lot of the times, many people get turned down because they are too quiet or have no eye contact. Be friendly and ask them questions. This can help to break the ice. Just rememeber, it's an interview and all they really want to do is get to know you better. Good luck!

Dress nicely. Not over the top, but don't go completely casual either.
Think about some of the questions they may ask you during the interview. Mentally prepare yourself to answer those questions. It will help you in case you get nervous.
Don't fidget. Make and maintain eye contact to show confidence. Since you are going for a receptionist position, you want to give the impression that you are organized, professional and friendly. Make sure you give a warm greeting when you first meet the interviewer. Try to be upbeat during the interview.
I hope all goes well. Good luck!

Ummm my best adivce is mainly talk about the job and why you want it, they don't wanna know about your life as a single parent, their not interested, well they may be fascinated by the fact that you can look after 4 kids on your own but dont go deep about it!
Be smart, and dont mumble! when they ask a question give out a straight answer with confidence! if you know anybody working in the same job that would have gone through a similar interview ask them what kind of questions they got becuase then you can practise on what to say and your more prepared!
Good Luck!!! =)

Interviews always seem scary, don't worry! I've always found that acting like yourself and being natural is the best way to go since in an interview situation you're potential employer looks more at the type of person you are and not you're qualifications . So make sure you're friendly, enthusiastic and come across as reliable. Good luck!

I recommend a couple of beers beforehand. You appear really confident and happy. And I know what I'm talking about -I've had hundreds of interviews.
