I was frying something with cheese in it in the pan and the cheese just splattered to my finger. I washed my hand but now it gives me pain. How can I get rid of this pain? I put ice on it but when I take it off, pain comes back.

You need to keep it in cold water for ages, the pain will take a hour or to to go away, if it's badly burnt go to A&E or get something from a pharmacy.

Get a healthy Aloe plant for the kitchen. Break the tip of a larger one off and put the liquid seeping from it on the burn. I hear it works.
The plant will grow till you need it again.

Next time get to the ice faster if you can. I would recommend swallowing a few aspirin, and waiting 15 minutes for them to take effect.

Have you tried a cream or spray marketed for minor burns? That should soothe it. Or aloe vera. That's a wonder drug. Real good for multiple bug bites and sunburn, too!

you should have kept ice on for at least 15 ins as the burn keeps burning the skin for this time.... I know it sounds weird but the grease from the side of your nose should help ease pain and heal skin!!

It's going to hurt for a while in any case. Best thing I can tell you is put a bandage on it to keep it clean and put some ointment on it.

Crush an aspirin and add just enough water to make it stick to the burn. Wrap a band-aid around burn.
