Then why do they hide from their fans and act disgruntled when they are approached by people? Seems to me that if they had fought so hard to get there, that they would enjoy all of the hype. Didn't they realize that beforehand?

That is a good question and I have thought about that too. I think that at first, maybe when they are younger and become popular, it is a kick to be recognized and such, but it wears off. Do you know that a lot of these people are actually shy. Have you ever seen them on talk shows and how nervous they are? They are just people and after many years of this kind of attention, it just gets old. They have marriages break up, have kids, and don't want the children to be hounded, worry about someone kidnapping them and such. Can you just imagine never being able to just walk down the street without hoards of cameras, and maybe you did not fix up for pictures. Everything you do is put into a tabloid to indicate that you were up to something, etc. These photographers get thousands of dollars for just one picture, so they are going to keep trying to get that one picture. Also, they are getting more and more aggressive with no respect for the individual. I would hate to be an actor and live that kind of life. I love my freedom, too bad it has come to that. No, I don't think they really can visualize what it will be for the rest of their lives if they make it big. They become a hermit in their own homes, with security with them at all times. What a life. I would not want it for all the money in the world.

I think they act or sing because its their passion and being or becoming famous is just one part of it and they don't want people to know too much about their personal stuff, because they still need privacy so they hide from the press and stuff. But i don't think they really hide from their fans but some fans can get too crazy and do something wrong. So they just want to keep safe.

Its fair enough wanting be famous and recognised, but come on any1 would get fed up not having a minute to themselves, and having every moment of their lives analysed. Famouse or not, every1 deserves a little alone time, regardless of who they are, they only get disgruntled when it 24/7 and the press. fans. public r rude
and totally in their faces

Someone once said that its easy to be famous - all you have to do is sacrifice your privacy. Its not so much that they don't want to see people, its more that they see people so often that they need a break from the constant barrage of attention, some of which is not welcome. Would you want total strangers on your porch at 6 a.m. looking to get pictures of you in your bathrobe? Fame has its good and bad sides, as does anonymity.

0.5 of those solutions are not even actors/actresses! My worst is probable Megan Fox. i will not be able to stand observing her everywhere, she's rather pretentious and faux. additionally she is provocative for no reason and that annoys me.

Just because they are famous doesn't mean fans own a celebrity's whole life. They are human and still want some part of their life to be their own. Let's give it to them sometimes.

Acting is a 'glamor' job, very competitive because there are many people competing for very few opportunities. Those that make it are typically egotistical and selfish. They're there to fulfill their own appetite and not to mingle with the mere 'peasants', if they portray otherwise they are ACTING.

No doubt! You know going into it that that is part of it. If you don't want to be followed by paps, don't get famous.
