I bought an elliptical machine last year after our local gym closed. I had a gym membership for years, so I've tried a lot of different machines, and this one seems to give you the best over all work out. If you don't know what it is, go to Wal-Mart, they sell them there now for about $250, and that includes a calorie and step counter, mileage counter, and heart rate monitor. This is a great work out and will really help kick your metabolism into gear.

my friend goes to a rebound class, the one where they exercises on those mini trampoline. She looks amazing now. But what works for her, might be bad for your health!
Best thing to do is ask your personal trainee if you have one, or any trainee in a gym near by you for consultation.
Different machines are designed for different needs. People of different weight and health problems need different kinds of machine!
Try swimming... its the best sport ever!
