Historically, define first the Palestinians, then their "homeland" and we can go from there. You speak about an extinct group historically that are now represented by those thrown out of other Arab countries looking for an identity.

Well, Israel isnt the Philistines homeland. The Land Of Canaan was taken over by the Philistines, beating the Israelies in war. They then occupied israel on and off throughtout the years.

Only recent history, Israel has taken it back, and this is all you see of the conflict.

Although ancient, it is what many Philistines remember.

The Philistines also occupied the 12 jewish tribes for many years, making them slaves.

After HUNDREDS OF YEARS, the jews won back israel. Only to have it taken again.

Now to be honest, there are no remaining Philistines. What pose as Palestinians are merely relatives of conquered armies who have tried to invade israel. They find many roots from all around the middle east, descendents from fighters who traveled to fight israel, and retreated only to find a home in nearby arab territories.

Well, I think this is a dream, our grandparents think of their Homeland all the time, but for now, nothing can be done, Israel is too strong with America backing it up, No rights for Palestinians at least during our lifetime, maybe our grandchildren!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, not..........Thanks to Israeli's expansionist policy, the Palestinians will never go back to their homeland....And it makes me so furious when some nations get to have it all and others have nothing...Plus, the USA, the G8, the United Nations and the European Union have always -and will- supported Israel, that is to say the powerful ones...The Palestinians are thought to be "terrorists" because they fight for their freedom and land! But when the Israeli slaughter them, with USA blessings, no one complains....It's so UNFAIR............

No,as long as Israel exists the Palestinians will never come back to their homeland...The Israeli government said they will never allow the Palestinians refugees to come back...
"Israel refuses to recognize the right of return of some 3.6m Palestinians refugees, or accept moral or legal responsibility for their suffering, as endorsed by UN resolutions. "

What homeland? Are you talking about Israel? If so, about 1 million Palestinians/Arabs live there.

* Arab citizens of Israel are Arabs who are citizens of the State of Israel. Israeli Arabs are full citizens of the State of Israel, with equal protection under the law, and full rights of due process...
