Tony Blair if he was elected I think hes one of the greatest if not the greatest politician in history. However England has too many selfish people to become a Republic, unless the population votes for PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION, it will never happen.
We need a change of direction away from back stabbing political parties using their power not for the benefit of the country but their own greed betraying all of us for rank and favors, to working political parlimentarians under PP. Then a new range of awards the BRitish Empire has gone so why not now get rid of OBE's CBE,s and bring in BM's British or EM's English medals these old awards started with most areas in England being obtained through the murder of incumbent families and while we revere these things how can anyone expect population growing up to consider the taking of lives and land as immoral. Vote PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION for a voice in government

First of all, the country would cease to be the UK if it was to be a republic. But that will never happen as the armed forces allegiance is to our monarch, and they would defend her against any such intent. Britain a republic? Over my dead body.
