You're right sharky, even the FBI isn't after OBL for 9/11...
Who benefits? The Industrial Military Complex? - More money for weapons - YEP, Israel? - Turns the world anti-arab - YEP, OBL & 19 alleged hijackers (a number who are still alive) & Taliban - Country invaded (to build a pipeline) - No, Siree!
And working man66 - It seems funny that people cant accept the fact that islam radicals want to kill Christians at any coast at any time - don't forget all those christian radicals who want to bring about armaggedon!!! (killing off most of the world's population whilst at it)

The Prisonplanet article has no more supporting evidence than we have been shown on the alleged plot.
Try as I might, I cannot find anything to suggest that potential explosive devices were found on that Boston flight -well none that I would actually describe as news sources.
The Guardian article supports the view that the security services are not 100% right 100% of the time. Although, I would rather they err on the side of caution - otherwise we will have another 7/7 type attack.
Of course, you seem to overlook the fact that those bombs in the underground went off killing 52 people and injuring 800. If that doesn't hint at probable terror plots, I don't know what does.
As for the timings, well have a look at the BBC article below which suggests another reasons for the timings of events.
Another theory just as plausible if not more so than your own.

Terrorist plots are being formulated all the time. Most fizzle out of their own impracticality or from lack of leadership.
The State is on a hair trigger. As a result there will be "false positives", which are deemed more acceptable than "false negatives", which result in events such as 9/11 and 7/7. In addition, as implied by your posting, the timing of an announcement of the discovery of a plot may well be based on expedience, pragmatism and political convenience. Over-reaction is not unsurprising: it't the Blitz effect: making everybody suffer a bit to generate a politically useful spirit. Eventually, however, commercial necessity makes the State back off.
One assumes that GCHQ and other government entities were monitoring conversations, and that the government did not rely on private denunciation, likely to be a matter of score-settling. As perhaps the Forest Gate thing was. Bear in mind that, having got a proper search warrant, the fact that the police discovered a different crime (child pornography) from what was anticipated may not lead to suppression of the evidence.
Our traditional (i.e., post-WW II) norms of human rights are on the way out. The State's first loyalty is to itself, and terrorists and The Independent and self-loathers and human rights lawyers cannot compete with that. American's USA PATRIOT Act is just one manifestation. We may see an end to family reunification rights, a demand for real, not fake, demonstrations of allegiance. An end to dual nationality rights (even if that compromises gender equality). And much else. Not yet perhaps, but if things get worse.

You really have a strange reasoning directing these things towards the Blair spin office, for what reason he's already said he will consider resigning during this session, so what gain would he have.
I have now read the 2 articles you suggest and follow your train of thought so are you saying someone else in our own or American governments flew the planes into the twin towers or exploded bombs in London Spain Germany and so on: That there are no suicide bombers and that there is no Al Qieda, islamic fundermentalist threat and we're all being brain washed ?

The recent terror alert took place just now in order to relieve the pressure on Bush and Blair regarding their war-mongering policy in Israel. The public will generally take interest in the current news, and forget yesterday's news, so it is normal to raise a false flag terror alert as a political measure when the prime minister is fighting a losing battle. Yes you are right, these terror alerts have nothing to do with terrorists, and are merely a method of keeping the general public frightemed so that they readily submit to further loss of freedom.

All's fair in love and "politics".
As long as there are those who cannot define facts from politics, there will be a market for fiction.

You can fool all the people some of the time
But you cannot fool all the people all the time"

That's because the terrorists normally blow themselves up !!!!
If the 7/7 bombers hadn't actually died they would have been convicted. The same applies to the 9/11 highjackers.
