I had an ectopic pregnancy a few years ago. My surgeon told me after my check up to go straight ahead and try (6 weeks check up), But sadly I never managed to get pregnant. That doesnt mean it will happen that way for you though!! Good luck and keep trying!!!

If I may say,I believe if you had an ectopic surgery you should allow your body to heal and recover before you permit yourself to conceive again.

I know a friend who had more or less the same situation. The only difference was that she had a twin in the early stage of pregnancy of which one had to be terminated because the fetus wasn't developing normally. She was bleeding heavily and she really had to be bed-ridden with extra care and attention during pregnancy til months after she finally gave birth to a bouncing baby boy.She had major issues of depression and all the help she can get physically and mentally were all a welcome to comfort her and support her state of being. The baby came normal although there was a time that for a period of one year the baby worried them since he just didn't eat any solid foods so they just had to give him fluids like milk & juices upon the advice of the doc.

My point is for your benefit, the baby, the dad, your family, your friends,et cet era I strongly believe that you should reconsider and think really hard of those unforeseen consequences before you commit yourself into something you're uncertain about. It may or may not be a success but it's for sure whatever the endresult may be,it will dramatically change all of your lives forever.
Don't risk when now you have the option to just wait a little bit.

I'm here because I care and your welfare is my concern but your choice and decision matters above mine of course.

Best wishes.

You can try again straight away, the 3 months advice is a little old fashioned, although most people needs some emotional time to recover too

The reason will be to make sure that you have healed properly and you don't get an infection inside. If you are swollen inside It may increase the risks of having another one.
