When I used to hunt we used to make a traditional rabbit stew, shotgun pellets and all, I personally never felt it tasted like chicken, perhaps a little, far more stringy and tough but unique, most rabbit stews have so many spices and so much sauce that it would be impossible to really get the individual taste until eating a fried or braaid rabbit steak which I have never tasted and is apparently very dry. I've also tried crocodile and shark, also unique but frequently compared to chicken, I was however later reprimanded by a very religious member of my family who referenced me to versus in the Bible condemning the consumption of crocodile and shark, I didn't pay too much attention though as it also clearly states that lobster, prawns and all other shell fish are also condemned for consumption.......
