Depends on the country. In my own opinion, one thing a lot of Muslm countries have is an intolerance for the diversity of opinions. They are too conservative and oppressive and I would hate to live in a place where if i speak my mind or express myself as I wish, and those in power do not agree, they can try to silence me and get away with it. I am also not cool with the religious control that the clerics would have. Religion is teh suck and I should not be compelled to love any god.
