i wanted to know one word in english.what do u call the act of pressing ur thumb n middle finger n skidding them on one other so that a sound is produced.some friends say me it's called clicking but i think there's another word.so please help me out.i think u understood the question.the act of pressing two fingers hard so that a click or thick sound is produced

thumping, or snapping ur fingers.... thumping makes a thick sound. and snapping makes a click sound. 2 different things tho
