I saw Deep Purple in 1985, have seen the Satriani line-up and the Morse line-up, the original Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice is still the best.

Never heard of deep puple, although there once was a fine rock band called Deep Purple. Never saw them live, unfortunately, but a friend of mine has and he could yak the hind leg off a donkey talking about how great they were!

I was at the door to the concert when they canceled and we were very disappointed and I can"t remember why they canceled. Drummer Tommy Guitarist Richie who said he was the best in the world. The bass guitarist could play lead too. Great Band

nope..but they r no doubt the greatest heavy metal band ever....deep purple rules..
