Having travelled loads of times between Leeds and Hampshire it takes around 4 hours.

I would say it would take between 4 and 5 hours (possibly 6 if you get stuck in traffic) to get from Leeds to Brighton.

Some years ago - did Jct 40 (Dewsbury) to Brighton in 3 1/2 hrs door-to-door. But given the increased traffic in the interim, it might take longer. Also it depends on what day of the week you intend to make this journey and what time of day.

if you see the route planners online, they give you an accurate breakdown (or fairly accurate because they can be really WRONG sometimes) generally the times are fairly precise. www.multimap.com (they give mileage and time on the right hand side column of the map and directions). or try www.theaa.co.uk (the AA's site). Good luck, wisdom.
(ps. i often help my hubby who runs removals co :-)

Depends how fast you drive.
Anyway, why go to Brighton, its crap.
Try Bournemouth, Clacton, Yarmouth
