A lot of women complain of feeling listless i.e. they cant sit still, and have a urge to do things, eg clean.
The most obvious sign is that you're water breaks (and therefor gushes out) followed by contractions, which move closer and closer together as the birth approaches.

Mine never did. I have actually never felt a contraction in my stomach. I had back labor with both of my boys, so my back just hurt really bad. My water never broke at home either. It's different for everyone. The "bloody show" is actually what usually tip people off that it's baby-having time. Most women, it just begins to look like a little blood is coming out.

When you go into labor, that means your baby is ready to come out. You start having contractions, your bag of waters breaks, and a number of other things.

you will no. In my case I felt like I kept getting back pains. They would come and go. As the labor progresses you cant bear the pain.

You will know when you start having contractions. They start out as pains in your stomach, then they will get worrse. They will also be a feww minutes apart. Believe me you will know when they come.
