Of course, the imminent fall of America will have little to do with Democrats or Republicans. The fall's cause will be......ourselves. We've abused and squandered our democracy. Half of registered voters don't vote. Americans, partially because of an inept media and government, are misinformed about the world around them. (For example, a significant number of Americans still believe that Iraq was responsible for 9/11.) Integrity has become far less important than talent and success. Students are getting dumber. And the popular culture is largely crap. America will go the way of arrogant ancient Rome. The next superpowers (which will be just as arrogant and shallow as America) will be China, India, and possibly Japan. Oh, and to answer the original question: anywhere from 30 to 100 years from now.

America is NOT going to fall anytime soon, here is why.

America IS NOT built with the same principals that old powers built with, and which was the reasons behind their fall. America, is a land of all races, religions, cultures, and everyone in this world has their infrastructure in America and will protect it, by supporting and establishing law and order and democracy as well. There has never been a diverse super power, and in America as diverse as it is with every ethnic group having the same goal, millions come in everyday from all over the world to live here, and are more patriotic to America than American born citizens in some cases. If America WAS NOT the place to be, where everyone is mad and angry at the government, we WOULD ALREADY have rebels, guerrillas fighting the government and WE WOULD have MILLIONS leaving rather dying everyday to get here.... Think!
