I love to look at the ocean.. but hate swimming in it..For that it has to be a pristine lake!! Mind you the ocean where i live is MUCH too cold to swim in.. hehehe

Oh yeah and everytime I go in the ocean.. something gets my feet... usually barnicles.. but OUCH!

Ocean.. cos the ocean behaves like a woman... our emotions runs deep like the ocean... at times, its sunny and calm, at times, it becomes dark and stormy.. this demostrates the power of a woman.. the ocean has a enormous capacity like a woman's heart... we can forgive and forget.. endure nonsense and still love those dear to us.. the ocean in every sense is like a woman.. cos underneath the oceans, you can find treasures.. corals and amazing sea creatures like whales, dolphins, etc... similarly, if you get to know a woman.. they are equally amazing..

well I grew up where there was lots of rivers and streams great to go fishing in and relax by.. but now I live close to the ocean.. fun to go to work on you're tan and surf and play in the sand but hard to swim in cause I'm so small the ocean normally carries me away some.. I like to watch the sunrises and sunsets over the ocean there really pretty .. so I would have to say it depends on what I want to do .. swimming I would prefer a lake but the ocean isn't to bad.. to relax a stream just to hear the water trickle down threw the rocks..

well I love the to see the ocean but i hate going to it i love to watch the sunset over the ocean. The lake that is around it i hate it cuz there is always to many people there and it sucks and it has alot of stuff in it that most people would not want to know about. so there for I like going to the river around here not to many people go to the river so it is nice to just sit back and chill .. And talking about swimming in them never will . I have to see to the bottom of where i am swimming i don't like thing swimming by me and me not knowing what they are

I love the ocean....it's the end of civilization if you imagine it to be. The edge of all the hooplah. I love the coastal life in Southern California, the smells, the weather, the sights, the night life, everything about it...but especially lazing on the sand on a hot July day...dipping into the ocean now and then to cool off....ahhh that's the life!

The ocean is the best.
The feeling you get when you are looking at this large body of water. The wind blowing, the birds flying overhead, watching a sunset over the ocean is really a sight to see.

same here i love to look at the ocean but not swimming in it, id rather look at a lake and river too and just swim in a pool! that way i can see whats under my feet!

I live on the river.... and lakes are pretty simialar to dams which I also have a lot off...... sort of over them.
But the ocean is very refreshing.... it includes the beach, lots of fish, bikini girls, sand, saltwater, warm weather, waves.... plus I dont go there enough.

I like the Atlantic ocean the best. I like to stand on the shore and imagine what is far beyond the horizon. The waves are fantastic, too.

I love the ocean, because it is where I feel closest to God, and if you know where to go, you can see tons of stars, the moon's reflection, or a perfect sunset. Very powerful and peaceful at the same time.

Lakes, boating is fun, I am scared of all the critters in the ocean.
