If this an elocution competition then the delivery will be as important as what is being said.
Ensure your little one becomes used to speaking loudly and clearly remembering to stop a second at commas and a couple of seconds at full stops. Have them practice standing up in front of family members and make little speeches. Encourage them to allow their face and body to speak for them too...

For instance while speaking about being a tree enourage them to extend their arms like branches...

Here is a poem I just wrote for your little one...

If I were a Tree
I'd stretch my branches towards the sun
and feel the warmth through my leaves
and shiver as the evening approached
and brought with it a gentle breeze.

If I were a Tree
I'd smile as the hen birds build their nests
in my branches and laid their precious eggs
and let my branches sway so gently
as the hatchlings test their wings and legs.

If I were a Tree
I'd count my blessings when you enjoy my shade
and rest your tired body against my sturdy trunk
I'd love to feel your appreciation of my strength
and smile as you catch my seeds as they go kerplunk.

If I were a Tree
I'd want to be your special tree for you to love
and visit to share you happy thoughts and sad
to tell me all your worries and give to me your cares
I'd listen to your songs whenever you were glad

If I were a Tree
You'd be glad I was and you'd love me as you grew
For If I was a tree you know that I would love you.

if i were a tree,
i would stand tall
i would breath deep,
i would shelter you from the sun,
i would allow you to cut me down to keep you warm, with the fire you would make
i would allow you to cut me down so that you can learn, with the paper you make,
i would let you carve me, so that you will have a name
i would let you cut me down to make a house
i would let you pull my leaves to make art
i would let a bird have a home
i would take the toxins out of the air, so that you can breath healthy

if i were a tree i would be proud
Aurthur: Dawn Marie Cote,
that only took a few minutes

I am always a little disappointed when I see children posting questions that are clearly requests for somebody else to do their homework for them. If they did their own work, they would learn more.

I am also always a little disappointed when I see questions from parents about topics that really would be best left to their children. When you interfere in that way, you are sending your child the message that you don't trust him or her to do a good enough job himself or herself, or that the result matters more than the effort.

You are asking strangers on the Internet to help your child cheat on his homework. What message do you suppose you are sending?
